Ranch

I painted this watercolor a hundred years ago. That why color is faded away. I found this ranch at Carmel valley. As you know, Carmel is famous as an art colony. And located a little down south from San Francisco. Ranch is the one of most popular subjects for watercolor artists. So, I have an obligation to paint it.

This is beautiful Osamu. It looks like the artist really enjoyed his obligation ;) didn't he. Great work. The colors look very stable not faded. It looks though that it is going to rain there..

Thank you for your comment. The real landscape was much more colorful. I don't know why I used such a limited color at the time I painted this. But I think it created interesting atmosphere.
