Night Stand

Someone left a comment to my old blog diary. So, I went back to the page and started to read my old diary. I felt that I am reading someone else's diary. But I enjoyed it. So, I read a next page and another. It was a nice way to kill time because I didn't have any plan for today.

Koi in Blue

I have been painting small size original watercolors. They are for the Tanabata Festival Exhibition. Since I earn my bread and butter with this, I have to consider the paintings that I can sell them easily. The smallest original I paint is 5"x7" in size. Actually, I love to paint small picture. I usually paint vegetable fruit or flower in small size. They are good to decorate a kitchen or bathroom. So I call them Kitchen Art.

From now on, every time I need more student I going to use this promotion technique. I was surprised that all three of them are already good painter. That makes my job more enjoyable. I am looking for ward to a next class. It will be a demonstration day.

Roses and Yellow Pitcher

Noel took me a restaurant in Burbank. It called Porto's Bakery & Cafe. It was the first time I eat there. We went to the restaurant 1:30 in the afternoon. Even though such late hour, the place was packed with young and middle aged people. And it was noisy, too. We had very simple salad. It was good and healthy meal. I enjoyed it very much.

Azalea

It has been a couple of months since I saw a movie at a movie house for the last time. I have been watching old movies form my DVD collections. But the movie "Inception" caught my interest. I have to admit that one of the reasons was a Japanese actor Ken Watanabe played important character in it. I'd better see the movie to support him. Besides that, I like a movie with complicated story and with a lot of imaginal scenes. I am a kind of person who enjoys movie visually.

Azalea

Since my friend N had a catheter in his important male part, he must have hard time moving around. He might depressed because of that. So, I called him to cheer him up. And I found that he is doing pretty good. I am happy to know that. However, he said something I couldn't believe. "I can take off the catheter whenever I like to. I use it only to empty my bladder completely." That's wonderful. But I had used catheter myself a year go and I was passed out when nurse removed it. It was extremely painful. How he managed to catheter in and out regularly. I wonder American male has tougher penis than Japanese.

and then we had two visitors today.

I hope some of those visitors become student of our class.
At least, this is an encouraging news.

Alley Way

I received a mail from law office.
When I picked up the envelope, there was no sender's name or address.
It made me suspicious. No sender's information means bad news.
I opened it and read.
It said that their client had injured by car accident I had,
There for, they want money for doctor's fee.
I thought there were nobody in the car.
But how do I know, if some one hid under a car seat I could not see.
I couldn't do anything about it, so I sent the letter to my insurance company.
I hope this things will end peacefully and quickly.

Tuolumne Meadows in Red

Noel and I went to a Japanese restaurant. This is the restaurant which Noel introduced me. Since then we went there a couple of times and I loved it. Especially, I enjoyed a Chirashi Bowl. It was a various sashimi on top of sushi rice. It was not only delicious but I got fairly good portion of it. This time I ordered same menu and Noel had a tempura plate. This place became one of my favorite restaurants. When I have a guest to invite for lunch or dinner, I will bring them here.

Blue Mountain

I went to LAX. A guest from New Orleans will arrive there in the evening. He will changes a plane from a domestic flight to an international flight to Japan in here. And he will stay my place tonight. His flight to Japan leaves tomorrow morning.
I was arrived the airport a little bit earlier. Well then, I can wait here until the guest come out. But it wasn't the case, because an airport police and a security guard rushed toward me and shout " You can't wait here, go,go,go!" I didn't have a chance to say anything. Obviously, I couldn't fight with them. I moved out and drove around inside the airport as slow as possible.
When I came back at the same spot, the guest was there looking for me. I drove right front of him and smiled at him. However, he was not looking at me. I banged the passenger side window to get his attention. Still he was not looking at me. I honked, but no reaction from him. Then I remember the word my friend said in his mail " He has very bad eye sight." So, I got out of the car and stand right front of him and said "Hello." Finally, he saw me and we shacked our hands.
After that, we went to a restaurant near by and enjoyed a dinner.

Tiger

Believe it or not, I never eaten sushi at a sushi bar before. Because I believe it's very expensive. Also, I have heard that I should not ask the price. If I worry about the price I shouldn't be there at first place. It is very intimidating. I told about it to my friend. And she said "I will take you sushi bar for your birth day." As she said, the day after my birth day, she took me to a sushi bar in Little Tokyo. It was a small restaurant but it was well known to be good sushi place. Make a long story short, I had great experience. I was a little tense at first, but soon I relaxed and enjoy delicious sushi.
