I was so busy today. I had to finish writing my news letter before the end of this month. Also, I had to write a watercolor instruction materials for my students. So, I didn't have a time to go to the ukulele gathering. May be next week.

Dinner

N, M, E and I went to a Mexican restaurant called "El Cholo". The restaurant is located in Los Angeles downtown. To me, an image of the area like a place I don't want to go after dark. But my memory was decade old. Nowadays, An area has been all cleaned up by city. There are some nice restaurants opened.  Our crowd was very international. N and M are American, E is from the republic of Fiji islands and I am from Hokkaido Japan. The place was very crowded. We were told that waiting time would be about 20 minutes. So, we moved to the bar and we got a pitcher of Margarita and nachos. An alcohol made me relax and enjoyed conversation.

We went to a Mexican restaurant it's called "El Cholo". I haven't been a restaurant in downtown LA area for long time. Because , in my mind it's not safe place to go at night. However, things has been changed dramatically for a last decade. There are a lot of nice restaurants in the area. It was a quite interesting experience and I enjoyed the dinner.

it's rain this morning. Not so hard. Do I take morning walk or not, That 's the question.

I took a morning walk. I walked to a big pond in middle of the city park. I did some stretching  and tai-chi two times. It was my morning routine. My day will not start without it.

A friend of mine and I went to a Japanese restaurant. It was a busy place. Reasonable price good food. No wonder place is always busy. The restaurant was famous for a sushi. Unfortunatery, my friend doesn't like a row fish. So, he had salad, Teriyaki chicken and I had a lot of fresh row fish.

I went to ukulele gathering. We usually play Hawaiian music but we played a Japanese song today. A Instructor said  it was the big hit in Hawaii, too.
