Greeting Card design 4

I was invited to do a watercolor demonstration at Verdugo Hills Art Association last Friday. It was the first major demonstration for this year.  I had prepared for this show with the great motivation because I wanted the first demonstration to be a successful one. Also, this is not like a demo I do in front of my students. I felt that this is a great opportunity to start this year.

As soon as I got there, I greeted to a person who take care of this show and I immediately prepared for the demo. There were quite a lot of people in the room. Also there was a projected image of my painting on a big screen behind me. It was a cool and an interesting experience.

I hope I get more demo works like this soon.

  1. Hi Osamu san,
Is Mt Fuji a greeting card or the painting from your Demo? It is beautiful!
Your Demo did sound like a cool experience! Congratulations!

  3. Hi Enna

The Mount Fuji is not a demonstration piece but my painting which I made a card. Actually, I can make card out of any of my paintings.

  7. Hi again Osamu san,

Thank you for holding those two cards.
If you have another Sumie drawing that would look nice hanging next to the Bamboo greeting card that would be good. Or if you have any floral or lake painting that would look nice paired with greeting card Mt Fuji that would be nice also.

Please take your time. Thank you for all of your help!

  10. Hi Osamu san,
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I finally got a chance to look through all of your paintings that you have posted here, so that I could choice a few more of your greeting cards.
    I like these three:
1)Crane - 7/2/10(Is it the same as Winter in Hokkaido on 10/12/10?)
    2) Rhythm of Deep Sea - 9/18/10
    3) Water Lily - 10/1/10

So with these 3 and the 2 I have already chosen I would like to purchase these 5 greeting cards from you. I will e-mail you at: sosamu@aol.com to discuss the cost including shipping. Thank you so much
