El Capitan

I was working on a "how to paint watercolor" video. It was for a net watercolor class. I have three students in Japan. I use various tools to teach. Such as YouTube video, e-mail, PDF file. Internet is very useful tool.

It was the last day of our art show in San Gabriel. Also, I had to pick up my artwork after the show. 

George showed up at breakfast meeting this morning. I haven't seen him quite some time. He brought me a hardcover art book for me. It was a Georgia o'keeffe.

I was invited a baby-shower party. Why?  I don't know. The party was for a daughter of my friend N. According to my friend I was invited because I let them use my artwork for invitation card and table mat. He said "I will invite you as VIP."So, I said "fine."  It was interesting experience. I enjoyed the party very much. However, I left the party as soon as I finished eating lunch. I mean, an hour after I finished lunch. It was Cuban lunch.

I took my art work to SGFAA Show in city of San Gabriel. I had plan to paint new art work but I didn't have enough time for that. So, I went to through old paintings picked one I like. Actually I picked two, but I changed mined for the last minutes and took just one.

A Cup of Coffee

An artist friend M came to Los Angeles. He was on the way to Japan from New Orlieans. He transfered plane from South West to Singapore airline here. He staid my house that night and left next day three in the afternoon. Have a nice flight.

I arrived at Little Tokyo later than usual. So, John was there already waiting for me. A restaurant where we have a breakfast open 8 am. But we always come at least 30 minutes before it open and take a walk around Little Tokyo area. Naturally, we didn't have enough time for that this morning because of me. We just walked couple of blocks and back to in front of restaurant.
