After we enjoyed breakfast, friend and I went see the Cinco de Mayo street fair. However this is not Mexico but downtown Los Angeles.

At the Park.

It was windy morning. I went out for morning walk and exercise. It was still dark out side. By the time I arrived at the park where I do exercise I saw beautiful sunrise. This is best time of the day. I felt another wonderful day is coming.  

It was windy day this morning. 
My friend and I went to starbucks and we got a simple breakfast.

The watercolor exhibition at city of Monterey Park was success. Now I can relax for while and next one will be SBWS member's show.  

Every thing went smoothly. I am ready for the exhibition for this weekend. However,  I found that I am not young anymore. The boxes I use to carry them easy were so heavy this time. I have to rearrange the boxes again. 

It was a day of watercolor class. I had three students today. What!! I can't believe it. Only three students.Where is everybody?  California gas tax will be up, car registration fee will be up and My apt. rent going up. And only thing go down is number of attending student of my class. I need a golden tree.

I stayed at my friend's house last night. And I went to J-Town from his house to meet my other friend. We enjoy breakfast every Sunday. The restaurant we enjoy breakfast is American and Japanese food mixed. 

I put picture frame to five new paintings this morning.

I watched Japanese TV drama "Yasuragi no sato"yesterday. 
I'm enjoying a lot of Japanese TV program on YouTube these days.
As result of that I don't watch regular TV program any more.
  

It was a day of watercolor class. And it's also day of demonstration.
Today's painting subject was "Shinobazunoike". It's part of Ueno Park in Tokyo Japan. The area is famous for lotus flowers. I did sketching and taking photos.

I came home this morning. 
I stayed my friend's house last night.  
 

A landscape in rain

I start painting a landscape in the rain. This might be the first time I paint a big city scene in the rain.
