I arrived at Little Tokyo later than usual. So, John was there already waiting for me. A restaurant where we have a breakfast open 8 am. But we always come at least 30 minutes before it open and take a walk around Little Tokyo area. Naturally, we didn't have enough time for that this morning because of me. We just walked couple of blocks and back to in front of restaurant.

Dog portrait

I painted a dog portrait which I was commitioned. It was the largest size painting I have ever painted for portrait. Finally, I Finished it today.

Alley

I was planing to go to hospital for blood drawing for the test. But I forgot fasting before the drawing. so, I have to do it again tomorrow.

Yosemite Valley

This is a time of my annual health check up. I went to see my doctor. It was about 5 minutes meeting.

Weather report on the radio was quite accurate this time. As it said, a heavy rain started the late afternoon. Dark and cold Sunday drove me to depression. Well, this is Sunday, the day of rest. So, I am going to take a nap.

When I came home Sunday morning,  I found quite a few mails in my mail box. I never seen so many mails delivered in one time. Anyway, I checked the mails one by one. And I noticed they were not addressed to me but my neighbor and neighbor's neighbor and another neighbor. Three different addresses. I guess deliveryman didn't want bother with them decided put them all in my box, so, I have to deliver them to neighbors. Why do I have to do this. I didn't get any mail for myself but mail delivery duty.

Afternoon at Park

It was a good watercolor class. Surprisingly, Eight students showed up. Most of them painted the street scene I prepared for the class. some of them were very good students.

Sunset

I am working on a commissioned dog portrait. It's quite a large size for this subject. As a matter of fact, I have painted quite a few animal portrait in my career but this is first time I paint the large size like this. So, I decided to show a progress of my work on this blog. I will start it tomorrow.
