Rain and Visitor

The visitor in the rain. A young man came to my house. He wanted to see my artworks, but not finished pieces but rough sketches and study pieces. That's an interesting request. What is that for?

The first watercolor class of 2019

It was the first watercolor class this year. We painted the subject which one of the students requested. It was landscape of Japan.

A Lunch with my friend

I had a lunch with my friend N. I haven't seen him for a while because He has been under the weather. He had a cold. It took a long time to recover. Now he is feeling better and he wants to go out for a lunch. We went to Denny's because he had a gift certificate for this restaurant. We enjoyed a nice lunch.

High fashion

Around the knee area of my old jeans has torn apart. I was thinking that I am going to throw it away. But it's kind of fashionable among the young people, so why not for the senior, too. I wore it and went out for shopping. I am going to keep the jeans for a while.

The first thing I have done by begining of new year

I painted a new watercolor yesterday. It was the first painting I have done this year. Japanese people cerebrate everything we do the first time of the year. So, the new painting I did was something special. Let's cerebrate.

It was cold morning

Happy New Year. It was cold morning. I took morning walk  as usual.

Breakfast sunday

Outside was cold, I put on heavy cloths, scarf around my neck and stepped outside. Early Sunday morning two of my friends and I get together at J-town for the breakfast. We have been doing this for the last almost 20 years. Well, at least J and I were.  We enjoyed simple breakfast and conversation. The senior men’s breakfast meeting.

Teaching Watercolor Painting

I had started teaching a watercolor class at Yosemite national park art center. It was my first teaching experience.  It was the year of 2004. I had taught the class for 13 years and quit. I had enjoyed teaching, but It was hard to drive six hours to get there. I became too old for that.

The last one

The last watercolor class of 2018 is over. It was the small class, but a very good one. I was happy that I had a nice time with good students. They gave me enough energy to challenge for the next year.

A Cleaning day

The old television set in the living room which I haven't watched it for a long time. I wonder it's still working. I tried to switch on. When I reached the television set, I saw a lot of dust top of it.  I started to clean it with the vacuum cleaner. After I cleaned it, I saw a lot of dust around it too. And soon I can't stop cleaning things. It became big project. I had to take a nap when it half over. But I felt good.
